Trilobe Screw Series
Trilobe screw has a triangular body with threads for metals. Also known as thread forming screws, thread rolling screws or taptite alternative screws.
The screws in this design can self extrude threads, reducing the use of nuts and washers and significantly lowering assembly costs. Fasteners only account for a small portion of assembly costs, while labor accounts for a larger portion. Due to the design saving labor costs for equipment nuts and washers, the economy of assembly has been achieved.
These screws are widely used in various industries, including automobiles (charging stations), electronic appliances (refrigerators, televisions), sports facilities, construction, etc.
Tribular thread screws are often viewed as DIN 7500 standard screws, however DIN standard only restricts the head types dimensions and performace regulations, the actual thread types and dimensions are upto the manufacturers options. Screwtool has mature experience on thread-forming screws production with OEM projects of long-standing brands on the market.

Thread Type : Tribular thread rolling screw. As each lobe of the screw moves through the pilot hole in the nut material,it forms and work-hardens the nut thread metal, producing an uninterrupted flow.
